We're Deanna and Chase Layman, an Oklahoma-rooted real estate team based in Edmond. We work the Greater OKC metro every week — from Coffee Creek to Plaza District, from Norman to Yukon — and most of our business comes from past clients sending their friends, family, and coworkers.

Listen first.

Most Realtors start with "let me show you this house I think you'd love." We start with thirty minutes of questions. What's your timeline? What's your budget — the comfortable one, not the maximum approval? What's the dealbreaker no one's asked you about yet? Until we know those answers, we don't tour anything.

Be honest, even when it costs us.

If the comp data says you're overpaying, we'll tell you. If your asking price is wrong, we'll tell you. If your timing for selling is bad and you should wait six months, we'll tell you — even though waiting means we make zero this year. The long-term relationship matters more than any one transaction.

With a big team you usually meet the lead agent once, then get handed to a junior who does the actual work. With us, you work directly with Deanna or Chase, every step. The same person who answers your first call writes your offer and shows up at closing. For most buyers and sellers, that's better.

How quickly do you respond to clients?

Same hour during business hours, usually within 15 minutes. Evenings and weekends we respond within a few hours unless we're in a closing. If you don't hear back within four hours, something's wrong — call us.

What areas of Oklahoma do you cover?

Edmond, Oklahoma City, Norman, Yukon, Bethany, Piedmont, Guthrie, Stillwater, Cushing, and Cashion. Edmond is where we spend most of our time and where our deepest neighborhood knowledge is.

What does it cost to work with you as a buyer?

In most Oklahoma transactions, the seller pays the buyer's-agent commission as part of the deal. Recent industry changes mean we'll sign a buyer-representation agreement up front so the math is transparent — and on most deals you pay nothing out of pocket for our services.
