When you submit a contact form, request a home valuation, download a guide, subscribe to our newsletter, or use the chat widget on the Site, we may collect:

Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring website, and the dates and times of your visits. This helps us understand how the Site is used and improve it.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

- MailerLite: manages our email lists and delivers newsletters and follow-up emails to subscribers.

5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
- Service providers: with companies that help us operate our business and the Site, such as our customer-relationship and chat platform (LeadConnector / HighLevel), our email platform (MailerLite), our website and analytics providers (Google), and our advertising platforms (Google, Meta). These providers may process your information only to provide services to us.
- Our brokerage: with Shepherds Real Estate, as needed to provide real estate services to you.
- Professional referrals: if you ask us to connect you with a lender, inspector, attorney, contractor, or other professional, we will share only the information needed to make that introduction, and only with your consent.
- Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale, or other transfer of our business or assets.
6. Email and Text Message Communications
Email. If you subscribe to our newsletter or submit a form, you may receive marketing emails from us. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time. You may also email us at info@layman.group to be removed.
Text messages. If you provide your phone number, we may contact you by phone or text message about your inquiry and our services. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving real estate services. We will honor opt-out requests as required by applicable law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You may, at any time:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct or delete your personal information
- Opt out of marketing emails (use the unsubscribe link) or text messages (reply STOP)
- Ask us not to share your information for advertising purposes

Residents of California and other states with privacy laws. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information or of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Some states treat the use of advertising cookies as a "sale" or "share"; you may opt out by adjusting your cookie settings or contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.

We keep your personal information for as long as needed to provide services to you, to maintain our business records, and to comply with our legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

Please do not send sensitive information such as financial account numbers or Social Security numbers through the Site, forms, or chat.

The Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including a home-value tool, our brokerage, social media, and review platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
